INSS researchers join Battle Lines Podcast on the Chinese military

Dr. Joel Wuthnow and Dr. Phillip Saunders, Senior Research Fellow and Director of the INSS Center for the Study of Chinese Military Affairs, are featured in a three-part series for Battle Lines, a podcast by The Telegraph focused on the Chinese military.

The episodes aired on July 28, 30, and August 1 in the UK and can be accessed via youtube, podcast, or spotify. The series draws upon their new book, China’s Quest for Military Supremacy, and describes how the People’s Liberation Army advanced toward becoming a world-class military and how Xi Jinping is trying to address its remaining flaws.
