Professor Brian C.H. Fong is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies (INSS) at the National Defense University.
Professor Fong is currently Distinguished Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Social Sciences at National Sun Yat-sen University (Taiwan). Focusing on studying Great Power Competition, Professor Fong has produced more than 100 scholarly and policy outputs, including journal articles, book chapters, authored books, edited volumes, policy research reports, and foreign policy commentaries. He is the author of US-China Rivalry: Great Power Competition in the Indo-Pacific (Edinburgh University Press, 2024) and the lead editor of The Routledge Handbook of Great Power Competition (Routledge, 2024).
