Collaboration Between China, Russia Compounds Threat, Stratcom Commander Says
In this file photo, U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Mustin (DDG 89) and USS Barry (DDG 52), and the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54) sail in formation with Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force missile destroyers JS Suzinami (DD 114) and JS Sawagiri (DD 157) during the U.S.-Japan Bilateral Advanced Warfighting Training exercise. BAWT improves interoperability between the U.S. and Japanese forces. This exercise enhances the ability of the U.S. Navy and JMSDF to work together to confront any contingency.
