A team of research biologists from the U.S. Army Engineer and Development Center-Environmental Laboatory tested the G6, an unmanned surface vessel developed by SubSeaSail, LLC. The ERDC team brought the vessel to Vieques, an island off the coast of Puerto Rico, to gather data that would determine whether munitions constituents were present in the water from unexploded underwater ordnance, a problem at sites around the world.
