Laurie Morrissey serves as the Lead Digital IT Specialist at the Institute for National Strategic Studies (INSS), where she oversees the design, development, and management of web content for INSS and its affiliated Centers. In this role, she acts as a technical authority on web operations, ensuring the effective presentation and functionality of INSS research products and publications.
Collaborating closely with the Digital Media Specialist, Ms. Morrissey ensures all web content is suitable for public dissemination. She conducts performance evaluations and advises the INSS Director on emerging technologies to enhance the visibility and accessibility of INSS research.
Ms. Morrissey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Master of Arts in Non-fiction Writing from Johns Hopkins University. Her extensive experience includes serving on web teams across four federal agencies, bringing a deep understanding of digital strategy and public-sector communications.
