Expert Consultant, Center for Technology and National Security Policy

Mr. Justin Dunnicliff is an Expert Consultant in the Center for Technology and National Security Policy at the National Defense University. Mr. Dunnicliff’s work focuses regionally on the Asia-Pacific and thematically on geopolitical futures including big issues such as future military competition, implications of advanced technology on society and warfare, and nuclear weapons.

Directly prior to joining NDU, he was a contractor for the Office of Net Assessment conducting research and designing scenarios on possible futures for Japanese military normalization. Before that he worked in the private sector for eight years.

Mr. Dunnicliff holds an M.A. in international relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a B.A. in law, societies and justice from the University of Washington.
