Mr Phil Stockdale is a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Technology & National Security Policy (CTNSP) at the National Defense University (NDU) in Washington DC.  He is the Deputy Director for Operations, with responsibility for all aspects of business management for the Center.

He joined CTNSP as a Project Management specialist in 2010, leading rapid-fielding science & technology projects through integration, testing and transition to operations.  Prior to joining NDU he was a consultant specializing in Technology Demonstration projects for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).  Prior to immigrating to the US in 2003 he served as Deputy Director of the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organization (Australian equivalent of NGA), as well as the Coordinator of Defense input to the Australian National Security Committee (NSC), and as a UN Weapons Inspector in Iraq between the Gulf wars.  He has a BA (Politics), MA (Strategic Studies), and MA (Defense Studies).  He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute.
